Chinese In Brunei

I'm interested to do a research on the Chinese people in Brunei. Anyone who knows the history, do drop me a line and if possible, I would like to contact that person for further information.

True or not?
Mr. Chua Chong Hee, described as a Chinese Baba who lived during the reign of Sultan Abdul Mumin, designed the engraved national crest on the Pitis coins.

Together with Mr Cheok Yu, Chua Cheng Hee, both had acquire the right to import and levy 5% duty on sundry imports between 1901 and 1929. Chua paid $15,000 for the rights and an additionmal $8,800 between for goods between 1904 to 1910. The trade revenue of Limau Manis was leased for 3 years by the heirs of Pg. DiGadong to Chua. Chua was also the owner of the last sago factory in Brunei.

Cheok Yu boutght $7,5000 the right to levy 5% duties on the same articles from 1905 to 1910.

Both faded into "obscurity after 1906.
