Liberation Day (10th June)
Queen Elizabeth birthday, (9th June),
Constitutional Day (29th September),
The people of Kg. Sungai Kuyuk in Kg. Air, petitioned the district officer to change the name of the village to Kg. Sungai Pandan in 1960. ("Kuyuk" is the Bruneian word for "Dog")
